With the news of Sam Altman’s exit and re-entry into OpenAI, the organization has been creating quite a stir in the business world.
Mira Murati, the Chief Technology Officer of OpenAI, announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that she has decided to leave the organization after six and a half years.
She also thanked Greg Brockman and Sam Altman and reflected on her contributions alongside the OpenAI team in her post.
Despite appearances, CEO Sam Altman claims that such organizational changes are a natural part of any company, and he intends to contribute to the technical and product aspects of OpenAI.
Sam also thanked Mira for her dedication and work at OpenAI, and addressed other recent changes to the board in his post.
Now that AI has captured everyone’s interest, OpenAI has introduced OpenAI O1, which is its latest large language model (LLM).
What is distinctive about OpenAI O1, also informally referred to as Strawberry, is its enhanced capability to perform complex reasoning.
