A newly leaked video shows what could be Apple’s next premium smartphone, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, featuring a completely redesigned camera system that stretches across the back of the device.

The 30-second video, shared by known leaker Majin Bu, gives a full 360-degree view of what appears to be a non-working dummy model of the iPhone 17 Pro Max in white or silver. The most striking change is the horizontal camera bar that spans the entire top portion of the phone’s back.

Unlike the square camera bump on current iPhones, this new design keeps the three lenses arranged in a triangle pattern but integrates them into a more natural-looking camera bar. The LED flash and LiDAR sensor appear positioned on the right side of this bar.

All three cameras on the iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to feature 48-megapixel sensors, including the telephoto lens which would be upgraded from the current 12-megapixel version. The front-facing camera is rumored to get a boost from 12 to 24 megapixels across all iPhone 17 models.

Apple might also add a new feature allowing users to record video with both front and rear cameras simultaneously, overlaying a shot of your face over outward-facing video.

The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to have a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max version would keep its larger 6.9-inch screen. Both Pro models may finally share the same screen size as the standard iPhone 17.

A new “sky blue” color option might join the lineup for the Pro models, similar to the shade found on recent MacBook Air models.

Prices remain uncertain, especially with potential tariffs looming. Apple has kept the iPhone Pro starting price at $999 since the iPhone X debuted in 2017, but reports suggest a price increase is likely for the iPhone 17 series regardless of tariff impacts.
