Logitech has launched its newest premium mouse, the MX Master 4, with haptic feedback technology that brings physical vibrations to creative work. Priced at $119.99, the mouse will be available globally in October 2025.
The MX Master 4 adds vibrations similar to what gamers experience in controllers, but designed for productivity tasks. This haptic feedback gives users physical sensations when scrolling, navigating, or selecting items. Users can adjust the intensity between subtle, low, medium, and high settings.
“We designed MX Master 4 to bring next-level immersion and speed to our users thanks to the tactile haptic feedback and instant access to their favorite tools,” said Tolya Polyanker, General Manager of the MX Business at Logitech.
A standout feature is the new Actions Ring, a software overlay that provides quick access to app-specific shortcuts. When pressing the Actions Ring button on the mouse’s side wing, a circular menu appears on screen with eight customizable options. Users simply move the mouse toward their choice and click to select it.
According to Logitech’s research involving 37 users, the Actions Ring can save up to 33% of time and reduce repetitive mouse movements by up to 63%. However, early reviewers note the current plugin selection is limited, with official support for Photoshop, Lightroom, and Zoom, with Premiere Pro support coming in October; community plugins are growing for apps like Figma and Discord.

The MX Master 4 includes other upgrades like a new textured, stain-resistant plastic finish replacing the soft-touch coating of earlier models. It features widened PTFE feet for smoother movement, clearer side buttons, and a new gesture button that lets users access functions by holding the button while moving the mouse in different directions.
Technical specifications remain similar to the previous 3S model with 8,000 DPI Darkfield tracking that works on virtually any surface, including glass. Battery life extends to 70 days, though this may decrease with higher haptic intensity settings. A one-minute charge provides up to three hours of use, but no charging cable comes in the box.
Logitech claims the MX Master 4 offers “twice the connectivity strength” of previous models through a high-performance chip and better antenna placement. The mouse connects via Bluetooth or the included USB-C Bolt receiver, though Mac editions may not include the receiver, according to some reports.
For office settings, a Business variant allows IT departments to monitor devices remotely through Logitech Sync when employees are signed into Logi Tune.
The mouse weighs around 150 grams, making it heavier than the previous model, and unlike some competitors, it lacks storage space inside for the USB receiver. Logitech has maintained the same 125 Hz polling rate, which some reviewers mention as a limitation for users with high-refresh monitors.
Available in multiple colors, including Graphite and Pale Grey globally, with Black and Graphite Charcoal in North America and Europe, the MX Master 4 for Mac comes in White Silver and Space Black.
